For this assignment, you will be the president or CEO of the behavioral health organization you described in your Week 3 Addressing Access and Equity Challenges for Medicare and Medicaid Participants journal. As the senior administrator, you were asked to prepare a comprehensive report. The purpose of the report was to determine your organization’s preparedness for a JCAHO or NCQA accreditation site visit. Assume you and your administrative team have already prepared the comprehensive report. For this assignment, you will create an excerpt from the executive summary and an annotated bibliography that will be written to accompany the report. Executive summaries are prepared to summarize the key points of a comprehensive report. Since, in practice, executive summaries are written after the comprehensive report is completed, to prepare for your executive summary, you should create an outline and notes for yourself with the information you would include if writing a comprehensive report.
Minimally, assume that your board has eight members, each with one of the following academic degrees: bachelor’s in finance, bachelor’s in marketing and communication, master’s in business administration, master’s in organizational leadership, master’s in strategic fundraising and philanthropy, master’s in social work, doctorate in psychology, and a doctorate (MD or DO) with a specialization in psychiatry. Therefore, be careful that the terminology you use is clear and does not assume the reader has a background in mental health jargon.
In addition, research at least 10 peer-reviewed journal articles or chapters in a scholarly book published in the last 10 years to include in your annotated bibliography. Resources assigned in any week in this course may be utilized along with new resources that you locate. Blogs and sources listed as “credible” in the Scholarly, Peer-Reviewed, and Other Credible table but are not peer-reviewed journal articles or scholarly books may not be used. Review the University of Arizona GlobalCampus Writing Center’s resources APA: Formatting Your References List. and APA: Citing Within Your Paper. for guidance on correct APA formatting.
In your paper, organize your work in the following manner and use the subheadings provided:

Describe the purpose of the report in the concluding sentence, explicitly including language relevant to determining your organization’s preparedness for a JCAHO or NCQA accreditation site visit.
The content in the body of your executive summary will vary based on the nature of your organization; however, the information must be presented in bullet points and address the following:
